Pgwp application was cancelled

Hi everyone,
I applied for pgwp when i checked my cic account yesterday its status in final decision is appication was cancelled
I called cic they said there is another person of same name and same DOB who already got pgwp i dont know what to now?

Sounds weird. Is the other person enrolled in same course in same college/Uni with same start/end dates and same father's name? And same UCI number?

Few things are matching like
Name
Dob
Passed from same university from India
Mother,s maiden name
But he is in Alberta and m in ontario

True, UCI I have on study permit is different but uci on cancelled app they assigned different one

True, but if a person got pgwp and same person reapply for it after 10 days of getting work permit still he will get different uci number
Cic cancelled 2nd application by saying that you Already got pgwp

Your case doesn't make any sense. Better contact an immigration lawyer.
