Greetings to all,
I have recently created the profile with CRS 447 and expecting ITA soon. I decided to proceed my application myself without an agent. Your kind help is really appreciated to clear some doubts regarding proof of funds.

I am planning to show the funds using my primary saving account and EPF. I also have a 7-year personal loan, which started from 2015.

Saving account balance + EPF > $12,669,
But, Saving account balance + EPF – remaining loan balance < $12,669

Is there any possibility of rejection of my application due to insufficient POF?

If they ask you to do a medical again, its always a good sign. And if you think of it, it might not be bad in a way because, you will have longer travel period between landing expiry and COPR.

In my case i got less than 2 weeks, around 10 if you count weekend and public holiday. They did not want to extend and asked to do a remedical. However thats only going to take more time. So i am just going ahead. Issue is have to pay a huge amount to fly.

Yeah, in a way it's good as you said. But fed up of waiting... haha.
Are there any other people you know who got the PPR these days?

Mention the dates as mentioned in the degree transcript. Usually start date and award date can be found in your transcript. The duration should show a period of minimum 1 year based on your academic year.

Hi Friends,
I am a CIMA Member plus I have a 12 months Diploma in Hardware & Networking from ESOFT metro campus.
I got my ECA Report successful for CIMA as a degree for more than 3 years. But I am worried about the Diploma I hold with Esoft.

Question :-
01) Does WES Canada recognize Esoft? (Esoft said me that they will give just one letter with the course I did, with duration and the marks along with their seal).
02) Since I have 2 qualifications in 2 different field (Accounting & IT) does this show a bad impression to the visa officer?

Hi, did you have your ACMA done? My husband currently has done the WES for CIMA finalist. The UK doesn’t consider the final stage if ACMA isn’t done, for them it is as Advanced Diploma is completed. CIMA SL provides that final certificate for finalists.. At the moment, WES has evaluated as the qualification as Advanced Diploma and the certificate we sent was the final certiifcicate which SL provided, we didn’t know before about it. It didn’t match with what CIMA UK sent as they sent the Advanced Diploma. Now we have to send the Diploma again.
I want to know if Advanced Diploma in CIMA is evaluated as a bachelors in Canada. Our only hope as we are out of Sri Lanka and to get ACMA done, they only email about interviews just 2 weeks notice. This isn’t enough to make a travel to colombo.

Did you check the eligibility using WES degree evaluation tool?

Pretty straightforward actually.
I applied through here :
https://eservices.police.lk/ClearanceCertificate/home.action

You'll get it in 2 weeks. I put my home address in Sri Lanka and my parents couriered it to me. It's much faster. If not it will take month or more for international mail to arrive.

Also, make sure you indicate all your travels and visits to Sri Lanka when you are applying. Unlike police reports from other countries, Sri Lankan PCC actually indicates the times periods of your stay in SL.

This I'm not sure. There's no date of expiration in the document. What I know is that it has to be issued after your last visit to SL.

To be safe, I'd say apply for it just before you submit your profile or right after you get an invitation (if you are going the Express entry route).
