Thanks!
I have not been asked to do the medical yet.
Then, I have no idea. Sorry! Haven't you applied via express entry?! As long as I know, all express entry applicants do upfront medical exams.

Could you share some detail of your application in your Signature? (Click on your username on the top right of this page --> Signature)
This could help experts like @Mr_nobody to make some useful inputs for you.

Oh, Is this forum related to only express entry applicants? Because mine is spousal sponsorship.

Dear All,
Hope you have had good holiday except my deep sympathy for the sorrow of flood.
Any guess how long should we wait for GCMS results? I ordered on Feb, 19 but still nothing!

Indeed, it was @Mr_nobody who first noticed there was something wrong with your application. Good job, @Mr_nobody

The documents that I uploaded were as follow:
- photos (for my wife and I)
- medical (both of us)
- passports (both of us)
- imm5257b (optional - both of us)
- imm5710 (both of us)
- imm5713
- LOE (AOR)
- my wife's work permit
- marriage certificate

Yes, it is totally OK. You need a visa only if you wanna leave Canada and return. It is OK if you don't have a visa while staying in Canada.

Mokhlesim dadash

Cheers
@aasaf How are you today, just to let you know that in my document checklist there is only one place to upload photo and it is for prime applicant and not my wife! is this weird, the rest is same as yours.

Hey ms-nobody, I'm OK! how are you?

I checked again my submitted documents, and I noticed that I didn't upload my wife's photo! Sorry for making you confused!

@aasaf , do you think it is necessary to attach extra documents like military record, police certificates, ielts, job offer etc as part of LOE in client information section?

In LOE, you must include your AOR letter and anything else you think clarify the mandatory submitted documents.
I don't think you need to submit the documents you mentioned above. However, if it helps you have a peace of mind, then go ahead and submit them.

Thanks @aasaf , BOWP submitted and I put some more document in LOE and detailed it well for myself and spouse, however i did not submit dedicated LOE for my spouse as i found it redundant, however i think i should as system created two different applications in my profile and for my spouse LOE is missing of course. lets see.
do you have any time line for typical BOWP, which stage was yours before you get your PPR ?
When do you think i will be granted the implied status, also suppose I have one, does that count as good as open work permit and lets say i can change employer?

Good luck!

I submitted my application on Feb 14, and its status hasn't changed yet. Moreover, I got an email from CIC stating that "there have been no updates to my application". I think my file hasn't been touched yet.

Now that you have applied for BOWP, your status in Canada will change to "implied status" if and only if
1) Your current WP is expired.
2) The decision on your new WP hasn't made yet.

Under an implied status, you can stay and work in Canada. There may be only one concern: Some employers don't employ people with implied status. I'm not sure about this, but I read it from a thread.
