@Mr_nobody, I ordered notes last year, and the due date was 24/09/2018. What was that supposed to mean again? My last update was background check started in 26/10/2018.

I'm wondering whether I should call or order notes again...

It may or may not mean that much! Depends on the Officer. What happens is that the officer is probably get a notification that your files due is on that date. Now, if the officer decides, s/he will review your file and if there is any update, s/he will add it to your file. For example, if the result of your security is back from CBSA, s/he will pass it.If there is no update, he will renew the due date.

Of course, there are some officers that don't give a damn to the due date or they are on vacation on that day, etc. Then, God knows when they are gonna remember to come back and look at these files. That is why some files are left untouched!

If you have time and mood, definitely, calling them does not hurt. Call them and ask specifically about the last status of eligibility, criminality, and security. Ask if there is any due date on your file or not.

Write to the same old intervener, Mr Ralph Goodale, I have seen in different forums that he has unpaused the responses and saw a couple of People getting replies. Please do that once @Ronja5200 @ChiragShetty20 @amisanghavi Suggest the same to you.

Second that.. There should be some mechanism to track/chase overdue cases and there should be some way to prioritize them.
Hope that this week brings some good news to all the waiting friends..

True... They seem to be pretty clueless on vintages bucketing of cases which are pending and are running blind for processing cases as and when they put hands on one. I think that is why its so much random...

I just keep wishing that all our friends here get it soon.

However, I got a re medical after confirming from cic that eligibility Criminality and security has been completed and only thing pending was medical assessment.

Yeah aware about the re-meds, you gave it last Thursday I guess... so Good chances for a positive news tomorrow. And yeah, its not good to inquire with him too frequently. Using this channel as appropriate is the key. Might work for someone.

I am glad there are people who realize this. I remember the fight we had, when it all started.
