I didn't even think of any other way to organise it lol

I really hope my office appreciated the work I put into that thing. I had a paper clip on each application, then bound all of the sponsor's applications together, PA's stuff together, and the OWP app and docs with 3 big binder clips. I did it by order of the document checklist, had a sticky note as a "tab" with the form number in line down the edge of the packet, and a letter in the very back detailing/explaining a couple of wonky parts of my application. (And for what it's worth, I hope they're also a nerd. I packaged it up in a lime green expandable envelope and sealed it with a sticker from our favorite gaming product brand lol)

Needless to say, nothing came back to me and my OWP was approved today.

I did not receive my OWP yet, i think they are still waiting for my MR to be sent to them. Hopefully they'll send mine too very soon. Fingers crossed

My timeline:
-PR and OWP received on Dec 5
- CIC sent Back OWP on Feb 8
- I resent OWP on Feb 11 and it was received on Feb 12.

I called them a couple of times and they told me to wait and my application is going to be processed in 4 months from the Feb 12 2019.

At least my Pr application is going regularly.

I wonder how they treat these OWP submitted within canada to CPC Edmonton. Will they treat it as normal work permit, 4-5 months or as a sponsorship work permit which seems to get approved in 3-4.. january applicants receiving OWP. I wonder where you fall

My sponsor's application to sponsor me just says "in process"

I don’t know either. They don’t give much information. They just tell to wait.

They sent back my OWP app saying that was missing record of payment. However, my represantive said the receid was in the file and when CIC gets lots of application they committe this kind of error.

No, we received OWP not too long after AOR. I think OWP has nothing to do with your PR eligibility.

I have a question for all of you, just out of curiosity. How did all of you organise your application since staples and lots of other things are not allowed? I stapled everything and put sticky notes at first and when I read staples are not allowed I literally removed all staples and sticky notes and just sent it like that. I did put it in the right order but there was nothing inbetween different forms. I noticed lots of people don't know how to organise it but it turns out it doesn't seem to be necessary.

I use paper clips only! originally we thought not to use anything, but think if the whole pile drop on the file, how can they reorganize it piece by piece. So we use the safest way....paper clips..which is allowed as they said...

You stayed in Canada less than 6 months? i got the feeling that those who stayed > 6 months has to do medical check.
I am still waiting for the medical request....but no news after receiving AOR....

My application was received Jan 30, and yet nothing, is it just me? Or is there still anyone in January that still hasn't received AOR?

Same here. Application Received Jan 30, no AOR yet. I'm really worried now.

No, I haven't received a medical request yet. Hopefully yours will be approved soon
