My parents did not need a medical.
I did apply online for my folks from Canada. I acted as their representative.

Its funny but my background check says this still:

Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision Your application was approved. You need to send us your valid passport to finalize your application. Check your messages below for details.

Hello all, visitor visa approved for my parents on March 19.. I got to know that cic is validating visa process based on the bio metrics submission date.. my parents took bio metrics on feb 22..

My parents biometrics was done on Feb 08. still no update on our application. I think it's random processing.

Hi all,

Ive applied TRV for my mother online with timeline:
Application submitted: March 10th
Bio metrics letter:March 10th
Bio metrics submitted :MARCH 12th
Bio metrics date and validity date updated online CIC account on March 12th. No update and email so far. After submitting bio metrics got 2 mails from VFS regarding the transit from VAC to IRCC Office with a tracking ID which shows its still in transit from VAC Banglore to IRCC office Banglore.
No updates after that.
Application status shows "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
Ive gone through the messages in forum that everyone's getting Acknowledgement letter which says IRCC has received the application which comes within one week after submitting bio metrics.
I didn't receive any such mail so far. I'm worried that the application went missing!!

Congrats on your Visa approval!!!if you can elaborate your documents submitted(not personal),that would be helpful for others

I submitted sponsorship letter, purpose of travel and history of relationship. along with my pr card passport with all stamped documents, property tax papers, land title, bank statement (closing balance), last 3 pay stubs, marriage certificate, marriage/ post marriage phototgraphs, media conversation (whatsapp chat screenshots)

from her side - last six pay stubs, six months bank account details, no objection certificate from university and employer, passport, aadhar card.

That was really fast for you, congrats! Was this application for yourself? I’m applying for my parents and they did not ask for medical so far. I believe for normal Trv they don’t require any medical, correct me if I’m wrong?

My husband submitted the Paper application for trv on February 15 and the status is still showing that the case was received by IRCC office on February 18th.

Till then, there is no update yet.
