53 days to go and background check still says 'in progress, we'll let you know'
no movement since 21st Dec 2018, no ghost updates. all I see is an increased frequency of Job bank emails, I've received on Friday, Saturday and one even today morning. Hoping that we'll all soon receive some good news this week.

Does the increased frequency of job mails ,indicates something good? As I have also experienced the same

I don't think that's true...... 40 days left for me... .. I have been receiving job bank email very often...... But still no update .... .. After reading so many forums, I think ...... That the files move faster after 150 days

Do correct if wrong. Post AoR, the first udpate is for MEP, then for biometrics. It is assumed that R10 checks are finished by then. Going by the pattern I see here, there is no big movement in file from MEP to about 2-3 months..then a couple of ghost updates (or RPRF request) then PPR? The entire process should ideally be over between 5-6 months. Is the trend right?

In case of refusals, the applicant is notified shortly after/before MEP?

Ideally that's the procedure .... ..
But it is more of case specific......
Like some are asked for further medical tests before MEP, some are asked for additional documents.... .
It's all case specific.. .. Cic has its own way of evaluating

GCMS buddy. It is cheaper and both take almost same time.
I am a bit anxious now as there has been no update since MEP which was in Jan

Though it is very very difficult to get job through job bank b4 reaching Canada . Canada has some labour market process which the employers. Have to follow .... . But u shud have ur profile in job bank.
