And based on my profile information they've been working on my background check.
I just logged in and under "Current Status" it said:
"Application/profile updated"
However, I didn't see any updates so I assume this is one of those ominous 'Ghost updates'? I haven't received an email yet though.
Also, now it's back to "Submitted" again.

Well according to me, people calling for ur employment verification are well aware of the check pattern. We can't predict anything. At times even after speaking to the concerned person during verification, they still call for interview for further verification . It all depends on them. ... If they are satisfied with the answers of assistant, they won't bother to call again..... . Otherwise they will do the needful.... . So, don't worryThis maybe a problem for me. My company has 3 branches in the city. I work in the main office and the HR who signed the letter mentioned the main office number as well.
However, in the experience letter, there are numbers of the other 2 offices too. Now suppose if they end up calling any one of those office they won't have a clue who I am

For one of the jobs, I could not get reference letter from HR, I got it from one of my colleague. I did write LOE for this along with providing snapshot of the response I got from HR. Will snapshot be enough ? I mean what is the authenticity ? Like, for me , I have got the reference letter stamped and signed by the authorised person ....

so did you get this update today?Next Month please bring good news I have email response from HR which I have uploaded and have explained the same in LOE along with pay stubs & experience letter. The email id shows the company domain.
Background check still shows - in progress , will let you know .. .. ...
Raise a CSE. Type CSE webform and you will get it. Response will come in 2 days
