Hey everyone

I have a question about the tie breaking rule. What date and time is considered in a tie break?
I have submitted my EE application in November 2018 and my score was 410, but I have updated it in Feb 20, 2019 when my ielts result came in and my score is 450 now. Does my application get a time stamp for Nov or for the latest update?

Thanks
No, the original timestamp applies. This is the mistake I did. I had my IELTS ready in early Nov but applied in early February.

In your case, Nov 2018 would be used.

NOC Code......

Hi

I was filling out form (post ITA). It asked me to upload the documents. When I read the instruction; all the instruction were same for all those placeholder. Could you please provide me suggestion which document should I upload on these specific placeholder.

1. Proof of PR/Citizenship of sibling
2. Proof of residency in Canada of sibling
3. Proof of sibling relationship
4. Family Member Proof of Status
1.If Permanent Resident, upload PR Card or Record of Landing IMM 1000 or CoPR. If Citizen, Passport is fine.
2.Any utility bill issued within the last 6 months (Hydro, Internet, Phone, etc...), or even better, apartment/house lease under name of sibling
3.Ideally both your respective birth certificates bearing name of at least one identical parent. If you have passports where name of parent is clearly marked, and is exactly the same in both passports, that will work too.

Thank you so much
What should I upload for the fourth one : family member proof of status ?

You can't if you're working on an open work permit.

if you have a valid work permit for a NOC 0, A or B job that is exempt from needing an LMIA, and you:
  • are currently working for an employer specified on the work permit
  • have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for that employer
  • have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa

Got it. Thanks for clarifying.

that means I need to upload my sister's PR card twice, right? (on 2 different placeholder)
If she's the only relative for which you're claiming points for, yes. Upload everything that's required even if it seems odd.
One is for FSW points and the other one for CRS score. System isn't very smart sometimes.

I'm waiting for wife's ECA (evaluation is due for completion on 3/29/2019) and really cursing the WES now, for the delay of 3 additional months, otherwise I would have been through it!

Hmm.. Yeah! I'm looking forward to it, but will be doing that right after the second draw of April! Man, I'm really cursing the WES now, for the delay of 2 additional months, otherwise I would have been through it!

Honestly speaking, while waiting for my ECA, back in January 2019, I had this feeling that when I would be entering into the pool, the scores might get high!! To my bad luck, my worst fear came true and still the cut off is high! :(
Nevertheless, January draws would have been mine.. and I would have joined the Feb/March AOR thread..
Hey Nik,
WES is the real culprit and forced me to wait until now as well. For me, ECA was completed on 5th feb, 6 months in total, God damn it. I made a silly mistake as my report was due on 6th Feb, I could have made my EE profile before 30th jan draw.
Back that time ircc was offering 3900 Itas, and had no idea of 30th jan draw, so i thought with 445 i could be through in feb or march.
I think the people who got itas on 30 jan were luckiest. Looking forward to next draws to think about retaking ielts. I might wait for one more draw after 17th april draw only if cut-off comes down to 446-447 on 17 april draw along with increased number of itas.

Cheers
Suraj

Experts, need your thoughts on post ITA query. I did 2 months of internship at completion of 1st year of my masters degree. While I have mentioned the address for these 2 months under address history, how do I put this in personal history ? Can I use the option of employment ? Thanks.

I hope you will be proven correct
I also think he is correct in that it will come down but I am not sure to what level. The cut-off has been dropping though by just a few points for the last 2 draws. I feel that the excess from that 3 week gap is still being squeezed out of the pool.

The intake of 450+ people coming in the pool I dont think will sustain forever. The 3 week gap skewed things in my opinion. It should fall down over the next 2-3 draws but I dont think it will fall a LOT in each round. Maybe 2-3 points if that. I think it might settle around 445-446 within 2 draws,
