asylum at airport or after entering in to canada?

Hello..

I am 40 male from Pakistan and running a handsome business here ,I am very active political worker from college life..

I have valid Canadian Visit visa and travelled Canada few months ago for holidays and stayed there for 2 weeks..

Now scenario is .

Government changed in Pakistan and I have to face political victimization from opponents, they are continuously harassing me by any mean.

Giving life threats to me

Offering to join their party

Harassing by government institutes by sending malafide notices

Restricting my movement by sending goans at my home and workplace.

till date i am trying to manage affairs but day by day opponents are becoming more harsh and more violant so

so my question is

if due to some unavoidable circumstances if i have to close everything and have to move canada then what could be the scene ? either i ll apply for asylum ?
what is the good way to apply asylum ? airport or after entering in to country?
if i ll apply at airport then where at airport?
i experienced security or immigration checkups right after leaving the plane at airport..
where i ll claim asylum? on ist check? when security asks you questions about your purpose of travel and other details about you?
or any other point?
what about KIOSK ? what data we will enter in to kiosk?

You can claim asylum at the port of entry (airport) or at immigration office both scenario is same but when you claim at port of entry immigration will detain you for few hours to do your background check and then once your claim seem to be eligible they'll released you in Montreal they'll sent asylum seekers to shelter home who don't have the money but you seems like you'll have the money to survive by your own.
Don't forget to bring evidences ti support your claim.

Police reports if you have one any other documents which support you claim that your life is in danger.
Yes you have to show at the airport if you claiming asylum there and your documents will be forward to IRB (who will make decision on your claim).

another question..where we will claim at toronto airport? just after leaving the plane? there is security check just an entrance of aiport lounge..and later on there is KIOSK ..and after KIOSK there is immigration counter..

where we ll raise our hands for asylum?

You left a safe countermand didn't claim asylum and returned home so the argument will be that you didn't fear for your life before then. Have you tried to relocate in Pakistan? You are expected to seek safety in other parts of Pakistan first. It is one of the most common reason asylum claims are refused.

i m agree with your point..
but everything was normal before because i belong to another political party which was in government till august 2018.and in august after elections i visited canada for holidays..bcs i was too much tired because of political activities ,i stayed there for 2 weeks and i came back from canada in September 2018 ..right after almost 20-25 days of opponents oath as new ruler of country..

everything went normal from September 2018 to February 2019 ..but suddenly circumstances changing and they are continuously teasing by different ways ..though i am trying my best to tackle situation but the worst part is their misuse of power..they are continuously doing wrong practices..using government institutions to harass me.sending me different kind of threats.trying to involve me in those matters which even don't belongs to me..

i think you donot know about political system in Pakistan..
new government established in Pakistan on 18 august 2018 and election was on 25th july 2018 ..it tooks almost one month to transfer authority to caretaker setup to new government ...
prime minister took oath on 18 august and officially declared PTI as ruling government ..

thanks for your response.but few more questions to ask..
when we land at Toronto airport then at entrance there is team of 2-3 person may be from security or border control or immigration staff they asks us so many questions about what do u do ,why you are here..where u ll stay..how much money yu have and bla bla bla ...
either we have to clearly show them that i m here and i wana file asylum? and i ll show them i ll stay here from short term and will go back and when i cross them and later on i enter my data on kiosk and clear all the staff and reach to immigration and then at immigration counter i file asylum?

there are almost 4-5 different kind of checks from Toronto lounge entrance to till immigration..

we have to show our intention from ist check or we will disclose it at immigration?

You are not relocating. Seeking asylum is completely different from the relocating that immigrants go through.

IMO, you should seek legal advice to see if you have a solid case for asylum along with unquestionable evidence.

You would not want to put your life and business on hold/shut it down in Pakistan.... then claim asylum in Canada.... only to have your asylum claim (and appeals) refused because of lack of evidence and your inability to prove you did not relocate to another province.

It's best to speak to an experienced immigration lawyer before you make any life-changing decisions
