I got pre arrival January 16. And then on the 28 they queued us for interview. Still waiting. My year was February 2. So I hope you guys have better luck.

Oh, interview request after pre-arrival and I used to think by the time they send pre-arrivals, everything except BCG is done.

hi there, when you got email of being queued for interview, does it show on ECAS ? because I have representative, i cannot check it on GCKEY.

Very soon you will get PPR. I know an applicant from Mexico VO that last week, hours after the BCG changed for "processing the BCG", he got PPR.

We have received our PPR Letter today.

Expiry date will be the one of the medical check .... May 9th 2019 .... This is awfully close ...

Is the applicant can enter canada before the expiry date, stay a week or so and then go back to his homeland in order to complet his business ?

Congratulations! So happy for you. Yes the applicant can do a soft landing and then go back. However to come back, they would either need their PR card or need to apply for a PR Travel Document which depending on the visa office can take time.

- AOR1 : 9th march 2018
- PPR : 19th march 2019.
- Passport sent via VAC : 21th march
- Expiry of the visa : 8th may 2019

The applicant is planning to land in canada on the 4th of may at Toronto international airport

Now, is anyone could give us some lights about what will happen at the landing airport ???
What should we expect ???
Will the passport be stamped with some kind of entry permit for 6 months or so in order to get the PR card ???

Congratulations! So happy for you. Yes the applicant can do a soft landing and then go back. However to come back, they would either need their PR card or need to apply for a PR Travel Document which depending on the visa office can take time.

I have talk with an agent at the call center and that's what he said. Even in french, he used the words «soft landing»...

I know, cause due to my previous work committments, I had to do that when I became a PR! Glad it helped!!

Pre-arrival Services: March 13th, 2019

We sent the photos again this week.... do you know how much time until passports are sent back?

Do whatever they ask you to do !!!
For us:

PPR: 19 march
PP sent 21th.
CoPR granted 22nd.
PR Visa said to be stamped in the passport.
Still waiting for the physical passport to come back. Hopefully monday 25th.

Never got email. Ordered notes it was in the notes that we are queued. Still no interview date. Almost at 14 months. I’m so pissed.
