Congrats!
I still see nothing
I believe you should be getting soon. Looks like they could be checking more in our files that's why it is delayed. But I am reading our group member's posts, the remaining process seems to be a lot faster than earlier. So please keep positive faith. They will start processing.

@mpigeau , in your case I can think only about two scenarios. Whether they just didn't notice your PC, which would be a horrible mistake of an agent. Or they somehow considered 3 out 7 years as a significant amount of time so they now require a PC from UK as well, considering you lived there less than a year ago.
I hope your husband can find out more info by calling them. Please keep us posted. Good luck!
You'd think the call center knows what to do. But instead they said to either send the same application, stating that they made an error, or to get all new PCCs and update the info on our firms to reflect our lives over the last 2 mobths. Gee, like I never thought of that....

This situation sounds infuriating -- I really feel for you. :( I think the information provided on the checklist versus the way officers are going about it in practice is really inconsistent. I am certain I have read of a couple similar situations on these boards elsewhere (i.e. people being obligated to provide an additional PCC from somewhere else they'd lived earlier). It seems like the best approach is the one the lawyers have been advocating, which is just to provide them with ALL possibly relevant PCCs so they can't screw you over like this. Of course, there was no way for you to possibly know that when you applied, if you were just following the rules as provided! Again, really sorry you're going through this. :(

Hey all,
My spouse just did the biometric, and will be travelling a bit. Would anyone mind to show me the Medical Request Letter? I just want to see the required documents needed to take to do the Medical.
Also, my spouse got the Bio-metric request on Mar 5, 2019 and did it today. Still has not received the Medical request. Is it normal?
Thanks so much in advance.

Another thing my husband caught onto, which I didn't think was a problem (because the city hall where we got married and other foreign government authorities normally accept these) is that the affidavits on my certified translations are in Russian lol. So they're translated and all, but the actual affidavits are in Russian. Because I can only get notarised translations of Russian documents in Russia. Because Canada is not part of the Hague Convention that uses an Apostille for government issued documents.

But yes, could that be an issue? Maybe @svilli knows?

My husband wrote a letter to attach to our application as we resend it, explaining that this was most likely an administrative error, since we were simply following requirements as per the checklist, as you stated :) Thank you for your support. Everyone. You guys are so sweet <3

Hey you all!
I was waiting in Timmy's line just now to get my coffee and decided to check ecas.
I see that I've got 3 lines on the sponsor side of the tab.
My last update was on March 15 when I received an email that file has been transferred to Mississauga.

Update: We started processing your application on March 19, 2019. AOR2??

could you all please check sponsor side of the tab on ecas and tell me who else has this?? Because usually, this message comes on the PA's side.

@JoshC any idea?

No, it shouldn't be a problem. An order of actions should be the following:
If you translate an original document, you
  1. Make it translated by a certified translator
  2. Notarize the translation with a public notary.

If you translate a copy of a document, you
  1. Make a notarized copy
  2. Make it translated by a certified translator
  3. Notarize the translation with a public notary.
That's a very generic process. Of course all affidavits will be in a language of the country where a public notary is located (Russia in your case). But usually a translator will translate an affidavit and all the stamps.

Hey friends; I just got the medical done. The doctor who did my X-Ray said everything looked good so fingers crossed she wasn’t just trying not to worry me or something lol
You can't fail the medical so you're worrying for nothing (unless you have something like active TB)
