Hi,
Please I need clarification on how to apply for permanent residency as a skilled worker. I'm married but my husband is not ready to immigrate now because of the project he's handling. Applying with my status as married will entails supplying his documents like English proficiency and credentials evaluation which at the moment is not ready. How do I go about this as we don't want to delay application.
Thank you.

Even if he is non accompanying, he will still need to supply medicals and police certificates.

A spouse’s English test and ECA are optional even if he will be accompanying.

Alternatively, he is listed as accompanying, does not provide ECA and IELTS, and only makes a soft landing/short visit to Canada to activate PR. As long as he moves in the next three years, this can be an option to consider. Assuming you have enough points on your own, this is the easiest solution so you won’t have to deal with a sponsorship application.

Thank you so much for this response. I thought without spouse IELTS and ECA we can't continue the application. Is there any link or what options do I make to complete application.

Oh. I’d thought you were already familiar with the different programs for skilled workers. The most popular one is Express Entry. You can read the link below and join the Express Entry section of this forum.

Many applicants have their spouses provide IELTS and ECA to meet the criteria or points thresholds for eligibility. It is really optional but in their cases, ends up necessary.
