It may be a part of pre arrival services .

I wish they would start on our applications now.

This week has ended with Holi being tomorrow. I'm sure if we do hear anything it would be by next week only. so might as well relax and wait.

Though the Visa offices in the south will be a working day for tomorrow. But the offices in the north has a holiday for holi. I got this news as per the Canada immigration avenue portal.

No . I got PA on march 6

We are a May applicant.
PA on March 8
DM sometime last week on ECAS but not in GCKEY
PPR on March 18

So everybody here turned out to be right. I received the PPR in the email today .

I think they are now working on closing applications received till June as time is getting much less. Next would be July applicants and then August... so on and so forth. It doesn't matter when you've received PA. What matters is when was the date of application received in Canada

My close friend applied by the end of Oct and her husband got PPR March 15....so never how they process

Its so unfair at CIC end, PR application process is more like a lucky draw now a days
