Urgent help needed; PR wants to invite his mom

Dears
A single father with a kid is moving permanently to Canada and wants to invite his mom to be help him taking care of the kid during the first 3 months.
The questions are;
1-Can a PR invites his mom for a visit visa during training or internship?
2-Why kind of visa to apply for to get an approval within 3-5 months?
3-Does he apply in canada or mom applies in home country?
4-Any link for the application and required documents??

Hi,

I am a PR for 3 years now. And I invited my mom to help me out with the kids last year. She got a multiple entry of 5 years, even tho I asked for 1 month only.
Of course, I didnt precise she is coming to help me with the kids but to visit Canada and meet my newborn. She always stays for 6 months. Last year she stayed for 9 months (6 months then we applied for an extension, they gave her 6 more months)/
I read somewhere in this forum(sorry I dont remember the thread name) that you shouldnt precise she is coming to help you with the kids etc.. because they might think she is staying for good. Also, try not to ask for a long period of stay, apparently, they always give at least 3 months.

Now the question is my mom has around 10,000 CAD in the bank and my dad is still there back in home country
any examples how to show the strong tie to return back home country?

Generally speaking there is a much higher rate of refusal if your mother applies for the TRV either before or just after you have moved to Canada. It's recommended that she wait several months until after you have moved to Canada before she applies for the TRV.

Note that taking care of your children will be regarded as working by IRCC. If she states this as her reason for visiting, the TRV will be refused.
