Not everyone only few of them if officers wanna confirm some info
It all depends on your file and most important the officer who is taking care of that

And what if the applicant is using a Lawyer ( representative). How can the telephone interview happen in such cases because the contact details in the Immigration Application are of the representative not the applicant/ sponsor.

They have all the contact info of sop and Applicant.so whoever they wanna call they car access

Sep applicants are getting dm on both sides. What's happening for june applicants? I haven't even received a medical request.

Thats the reason im going crazy and my file is even transferred to Vancouver office from Mississuaga (my lical office)
So make sure where is your files roghr now

I just called them last month they tild me and then on 12 feb I received correspondence for aditional proof of income from Vancouver hub thats how i find out

Does call is on sponsor’s number or the applicant??

if they transfer your file, they usually send you letter stating the same and reason why its being transferred like further assessment ?
