Hi friends,

I am living in Scarborough since November 2018. I am looking for a job in Canada. My English level is intermediate only, can I get the job in Canada? If yes, what kind of job will I get here? I have completed b.sc IT in my country and I have 3 years experiences in my country as a Microsoft Exchange administrator either. What kind of job will I eligible for? And I have no idea how to search for a job here? I need some guidelines to find a job.

For every job posting there is something called job description. Read it to check if the skills match with yours. Finding job requires patience and research. No one in the forum would know your skillset and guide you to your dream job.

1. Create a resume listing all your experience and skillset
2. Research on available jobs (such as Microsoft Exchange admin)
3. See if you need to upgrade your skills. If yes, go for training, bridging programs
4. Start applying on websites such as Linkedin, Workopolis etc
5. Network with people online and offline

7. If you feel your language needs improvement, try to improve on that by going for English classes, interacting with people around you.

Yes, I am in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada and I have an open work permit visa. Already I have created my resume and uploaded in some job website such as indeed.com, glassdoor job. However, i could not get my exact role so i am trying to find a new job with zero experience until i get my dream job because i don't want to waste my time anymore. Already i have wasted 6 months. I have no job since November'2018. I don't know what kind of jobs will i eligible for?

What kind of jobs are your ready to go for?

Cashier, Tim Hortons/Mc Donalds (Skill level : low)
Driving - Taxis, uber (Skill level : Need a G license)
Adminstration / receiptionist (Skill level : Converse in english)
IT administration (Need to know how to fix computers and general IT related issues around a company)
Software development (Skill : Need to know how to code)

The list goes on.
