Correct - you do not "add" her to the application as a co-applicant since she is already a citizen. You list her on IMM 5406, Additional Family Information, and include a brief letter of explanation that she is a Canadian Ciitizen and include scans of her birth certificate. I understand that in Ontario (not sure about other places) it is taking a ridiculously long time for the birth certificates to be issued, so if you have to submit your application, submit it with some proof (e.g. hospital paperwork) and a promise to submit the BC (and.or passport) when you get it...).
Thanks @jes_ON always being very supportive. I am in process of filling pre-forms while pressing continue button, I don't see any IMM form there, will be submitting eAOR after baby birth. So after her birth, I will add her in immediate family members in personal section right? And will write LOE as you are right by the time i will submit eAOR at the same time I will have only applied for BC.

@jes_ON , @canuck_in_uk , we are blessed with Canadian newborn, so we r 4 (me, spouse, first born non-canadian and 2nd born canadian). Now as per your earlier response, I shouldn't add him as 'non-accompanying child' by going into 'Modify Family Information' button...Right? In this way, I have only 3 sections (mine, dependent spouse accompanying and firstborn non-canadian child accompanying)
I was reading on this forum, some ppl added newborn canadian as non-accompanying child and paid fee, refunded back, etc...hence confused.
But at same time, is it right that I should add him in 'Immediate Family Members' in all of our 'personal' sections i.e. of mine, spouse, and his elder brother (first born accompaying dependent child)? I am still in process of completing forms after hitting 'Continue Application' button of ITA and page before document checklist.
Where can I find IMM 4506 (additional family information) within the online form I am filling, is it refer to the same section of 'immediate family members' that I am filling?.
Listing newborn in 'immediate family member' would suffice or do I need to add him as non-accompanying dependent child, or I in separate upload IMM4506 form?
Kindly advice!

IMM4506 is the name of the form in paper-based applications (which is still used by many programs). Many of us "seniors" went through the process on paper before it changed to Express Entry and the eAPR, so we don't know what the electronic application format is exactly likely because we cannot access it without applying (to my knowledge). I believe IMM4506 is essentially the same thing as the "Immediate Family Members" section. So list your canadian born child there (not as non-accompanying).

I would also suggest writing a brief letter of explanation about your second child being born in Canada, and so is a Canadian citizen and is not included in the application; include a scan of the child's birth certificate and/or passport.

Thanks @jes_ON understood well. I have applied for birth registration and birth certificate, as you also mentioned earlier about delays, i am also expecting that I wouldn't receive that by eAPR deadline. Hence, as you advised earlier, will attach proof docs with LOE. Thanks a lot @jes_ON really appreciate that.

Hello all,

I got ITA under CEC and am currently living in Canada. In post ITA process, should I add my Canadian born child and select accompanying person. Or, Can I just leave her from the application as she is already a Canadian citizen. If I add her as accompanying person, I think, CIC will ask me to do medicals and pay the fees for her. Which one should I select. Please advice me.
Hello, I saw your post and it's relevant to my current situation. I'm a CEC applicant and just got ITA. My 2 yr old daughter is Canadian citizen by birth but currently residing outside Canada. Did you end up including your child on the application and just enter as non-accompanying? Thanks in advance for your reply.
