@JoshC, thank you very much from my perfectionism to yours :D
I wish we had the same since the beginning for December applicants!
I have small comment regarding Biometrics.
If the column "Given" correspond to day when an applicant goes to VAC, and "passed" is a GCkey update, as I understand, these have always the same date.
Also, one of the frequent question from those who didn't pay biometrics fee in advance: "How long does it take to get the request after payment uploaded". Might be any sense to add this column too?
Agreed! I wish we had something like this for December!

@JoshC, my next challenge for you, should you be bored or interested enough to accept, and perhaps this improved tracker will help with, is to figure out what the heck is going on now with the background check in process inconsistency (esp. to determine if it correlates with faster processing times, which we won't know until the first few groups with that status get through to the end...).

It really bothers you, I see :D
My only idea would be they try their best to speed up the process so they moved the background check to the beginning (really, why to waste additional time at the end if it can be done alongside with the main process). But it's no more than just a guess.
But also there are some facts against it. If you take a look at the timelines of December applicants who recently got DM (there are a couple of them), you'll see that their BGC started literally one day before DM if I'm correct. Does that mean the check took just 1 day? I don't really know.

I wouldn't say it bothers me (at this point I'm in for the ride however long it takes), but there are A LOT of people who come to these threads and ask questions about what background check "means" in terms of their timeline since all the old threads say that it happens right before PPR. Though we'll never have absolute insight into IRCC's procedures, it'd be nice to at least have a clue what the pattern is these days. I don't think we have nearly enough data yet to say what that pattern is, though. Hence my "challenge" to our resident data scientist, @JoshC. :D

I understand the reasons, and I absolutely agree with you. It was more a joke about "bothers", sorry :)
I'd love to understand IRCC's ways of doing things and any insight would be appreciated. But as you underlined, we don't have enough data to make up conclusions...

Hey guys when linking our Application to CIC account, Whose account should we use? PA's or Sponsor's?
You can link to either person's account and share access between the two of you via the account credentials.

With the PA and MVO columns we can use the data so I've added it to the summary bit at the bottom of the sheets - I'll be expanding on this over time.

Out of curiosity.. If an application was to be returned, do they return it immediately or it takes sometime? if it does, how long?

Took 3 months for them to bounce mine back, about the same time everyone was getting AORs for that week.

were you informed that it was rejected? in my case I had an issue validating form 5669 but I think I have sent them an explanation as to why it wasn't validating, and also I forgot to answer with NA to the not applicable questions. I'm concerned that they might return it :(.

First sign I had was the envelope with all the forms I had sent showing up in the mail and a nice note telling me I’d missed one and please resubmit when complete.
