Hi!
Today the account was updated "we are reviewing your eligibility" and received a request letter for RCMP fingerprints.

Does anyone know, assuming we get the fingerprints done tomorrow, if this will delay the processing? From what I've seen so far, others have received DM a day or two after review of eligibility showed up on their account.

Thanks and good luck to all. We are almost there!
My hubby received the RCMP request December 18th...it was submitted on Jan 4th...we are still stuck in BCG...with no further updates since then.

Another update: I was able to actually log in and check my account status, what I thought might be a ghost update was an actual update; they have started reviewing eligibility!! So excited for progress! (Sept 24 applicant)

Guess what guys! I got a “ghost” update today too... yaaaay! Things are moving forward and just like @Geno.uss said, I have a feeling it will be done before my OWP approval LOL :D:p:);)

Hey all jus got an email...so I went into my account an notice I recieve a letter ....am thinking it's the aip letter ? Do u guys know if it ts thanks ..this wat its says..It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident until you and all your family members have met these requirements.

I am happy to report it did not delay our application.

My husband did the fingerprints today and we got AIP this afternoon!!! For those in Québec, as soon as you get the AIP, call the RAMQ (provincial health care). You are eligible once you get the AIP.
