can I add new document after I submit the application

I just helped my mom submit her visitor visa application. However I realize that we forgot to include one important document — doctor’s notes, which can be a strong reason why my mom has to come to Canada.

My question is: can I submit the additional document on IRCC Web Form? Any experience or suggestions?

By any chance, is the doctor's note about your pregnancy.... and why your mom must visit you to provide moral support or to take care of you/your baby?

No you can't. You can send extra files through WebForm but no guarantee they will be considered.

It is not advisable to mention anything about your pregnancy.... or wanting your mom to take care of you/your baby.... as it is considered as working illegally

Thank you for your advise! But I have already submitted the additional document through the web form. Today I received the email from IRCC said that the document has been added to my application.
