There are so many. Paying so much tax like Canada is less common than paying no or minimal tax. One of the reasons you see Canadians moving to one of the Gulf countries for example.Wow..in which country don't you pay taxes??
Based on the questions you are asking I would strongly suggest NOT to do your own taxes as you are likely to make a mess and will spend much more in the future to fix your mistakes than you would have paid a professional to get it done properly.Yes you are right I need to learn so much...
Let's say I will register with CRA what is the next step ?
I have 2 bank accounts will this be issue?
Also another question please what is GC key account?
Thanks everyone
I don't mind paying tax at all. It means I make money. I pay 32% or so..There are so many. Paying so much tax like Canada is less common than paying no or minimal tax. One of the reasons you see Canadians moving to one of the Gulf countries for example.
Thank you very much you answered what I have in my mind I will google that...Based on the questions you are asking I would strongly suggest NOT to do your own taxes as you are likely to make a mess and will spend much more in the future to fix your mistakes than you would have paid a professional to get it done properly.
If this is your first time filing you will probably be unable to open a CRA online account. You can open it only after you have filed once with them.
If I was in your shoes, I would try to get in touch with the previous employer to get a copy of the T4 as this will make things much easier and prevent reporting mistakes. You have the legal right to obtain your T4 from any employer you worked with.
If you have earned less than $30,000 as a single individual, and only have T4 as income, no business, self-employed, rental or foreign income, you may qualify for the CRA free tax program. Google CRA Tax Clinic and try to locate one near where you live or work, and bring whatever document you may have in terms of income, rent paid and the like, and they should be able to assist you.
If for some reason I can't get the T4 from the previous employer but (I will show that I got Paystub) what I must do and what is going to happen to me witj CRA is there any problems or issues?Based on the questions you are asking I would strongly suggest NOT to do your own taxes as you are likely to make a mess and will spend much more in the future to fix your mistakes than you would have paid a professional to get it done properly.

You can call the CRA hotline and after verification they may be able to give you the numbers of that T4.If for some reason I can't get the T4 from the previous employer but (I will show that I got Paystub) what I must do and what is going to happen to me witj CRA is there any problems or issues?
I want to report every dollar that I earned is there any other way to do this without T4?
Thanks
Thank you very much... will they give the numbers even if it's my first time ?You can call the CRA hotline and after verification they may be able to give you the numbers of that T4.
You need to know the numbers to that are in various boxes in the T4 slip to enter into a tax program. Paystub and t4 are different.Thank you very much... will they give the numbers even if it's my first time ?
You mean by numbers the amount of hours & money they got from my employer when he paid me and gave me paystub?
Yes I know both are different what i meant is when I call CRA for T4 numbers (will CRA give me T4 numbers even if I didn't file any tax in Canada for previous years?) Will CRA have copy of T4 before even I have it or my previous employer sent it to me?You need to know the numbers to that are in various boxes in the T4 slip to enter into a tax program. Essentially the T4 reports on your income, statutory deductions (CPP, EI contributions etc.) for the tax year. An employer will submit all employees T4 to the CRA, after printing them out from their accounting software. Each employee will be given a copy of his own, which he can use when filling taxes (the tax software will require specific numbers that are included on the T4).Yes I know both are different what i meant is when I call CRA for T4 numbers (will CRA give me T4 numbers even if I didn't file any tax in Canada for previous years?) Thank you very very much you now made the ideas very clear to me I will call them and ask at least now I have basic ideas.....Essentially the T4 reports on your income, statutory deductions (CPP, EI contributions etc.) for the tax year. In your case you do not have one so you need to call the CRA to obtain this information. I don't know if they will send you a copy or just give you details about the numbers (such as income, CPP contribution etc.). As you have never filed taxes before I am not sure whether this is an option for you. Again you should call the CRA and explain the situation and they will be able to help you.
I hope it helps! Goodluck with filing your taxes.Thank you very much seems very nice websites.
