Can you share which number to call and if you used Google Hangout to call from outside canada ?

I have called +1 613-944-4000 number and can hear the automated status but never does it take me to speak to any agent and disconnects saying too busy. Please guide.

This is the number every one calls. But you must be calling at their busy hours. Try calling at their start of the day. I’m not sure if its 8 or 8:30. But I have called around 930 and managed to get through the call with 18-20 minutes wait time.

Contacted IRCC to find out the status and visa office,
AOR October 15th
Stuck in same status from October 15th and my estimated completion date is April 15th which is like 33 days left, I got to know that my application is in Montreal, Quebec is anyone else with this office? is this office really slow in processing?

Hi, i just spoke to a CIC agent after a long wait of 20 mins, below is the status:

Eligibility - under review
Criminality - not started
Security - not started
Visa office - ottawa

I thought files were processed much faster at ottawa.

I'm not sure if I'm in IP2 or IP1 at this stage!! no movement since they updated my medics and a ghost update on 02/03/2019.
How to know if we are in IP2 or IP1 as I'm sure that the BG status has been" backgroun in progress" since the beginning?!

try making back to back attempts with 10-15min interval. mondays are good at 6pm ist and between 8-10pm ist, rest of the days are generally busy, but back to back trials will surely get you through to an agent.

I assume we move into IP2 after that ghost update .

recommended pass. means higher officer is ok with case officers review. my application was approved a few days after it got to recommended pass
