The thing is my application is not yet approved. My Eligibility is passed but background checks are ongoing. Abu dhabi VO cant do anything because even though my interview was held there but it is London VO that will have to eventually send me PPR email. I can’t do anything but wait at this point...

Ohh. That makes sense. Eligibility is the biggest hurdle. Just have bit more patience.

Moved to IP2 - Between 25th Feb & 5th March ( Don’t know the exact date)
PPR - 11th March
No ADR

Called IRCC on 8th Feb and was informed that eligibility is met but background check has not begun.
Called again on 12th Mar and was informed that my application was approved and the ready for visa email was sent on 11th.
Called and woke up my consultant from slumber to check the email and share it with me. Finally got it today.

Called Feb.15 : Criminality check not started.
Called Mar.08 : Criminality check in processing.
But I don't have PPR request yet.
I can't even guess WHEN.

Hi, pls call IRCC once.. specifically ask them fr the status of eligibility, security & criminality.. also ask them about target completion date.. this will help you in alligning expectations.. i use to be so frustrated as i was stuck in IP1 since long but the whole movement in my case happened in first fortnight of March.. i think it took a weeks time to complete my background check.. i was 11 days away frm completing my 6 month mark.. All the best!

Call them at 8am sharp. That's what I did and I got through to them via skype call (using credit)

Thanks. Will try tht today. Its already been 10 days post 6 months mark and have no idea where the application is stuck. In CSE they informed tht eligibility has been met and background verifications are in process. This was two weeks back.

Hi Cherry, I hv called them twice and both times around 22:00 hours India time. The wait time was around 30 minutes. Both the agents were really polite and helped nicely.

I called on +1 613 944 4000 and then was redirected to +1 888 242 2100.. I didn’t use skype..

aor 7 sep. Ip2 from Nov but no updates since. Reached out to CIC through webform on march 7 asking for 1) Visa office and status of 1) Eligibility 2) security 3) Criminality checks.

Their reply

Not sure if this means the file is in some kind of review or just a standard reply. I guess I should order gcms notes now.. ALso can anyone guide me how do I call IRCC from India. I tried using both google hangouts and skype earlier. Google hangout call doesnt ring and skype says invalid number

Criminality check was in processing but Security check didn't start.

did you call them? I called them yesterday and they told me that eligibility is met and criminality is fine. They are yet to start security and the due date on my application is early may.
