Out of the Pakistan population of 220 Million….Plus Karachi alone has the actual population of 40 Million, which is more than the total population of Canada, even if 200,000 Pakistanis are living in Canada does not prove that it’s the heaven. Yes we like to export labor, blue collar people, truck and taxi drivers, plumbers, carpenters and all type of poor labor, for which the Canada is heaven.

People are lured by flattered advertisements of Canadian Immigration Consultants and Canadian Government and many skilled workers and even business entrepreneurs get fooled and attracted because of the so called charm of having 2nd passport. But they know the reality once they reach there! The government should not attract them through immigration plans if they can’t adjust & give the respect to professionals. Finally professionals are ending up in filling the petrol at gas stations. And all this has now become a business and everyone in the chain is feeding his tummy for handsome money.

I see many engineers, doctors, business managers, entrepreneurs and skilled labors etc from different parts of world, who became donkeys there after going there on Federal Skilled Workers. This is the only reason that Canada has “Jack of all Trades, but Master of None”

Well, read on why MOST of the people stay rather that I reading why a few % of people left. If they regret it, it was their fault. They should have researched about the weather etc.

Apart from taxi drivers, truck drivers, carpenters, welders and all type of blue collar people, Canada is a heaven for farm and poultry workers too. So don't worry you will not regret either loooool

Its not the weather only but its a long list of reasons "Why People are leaving Canada" which people on this Canada Visa Forum can hardly digest!! It reminds me of a famous saying "Beggars are not choosers", so move one what you are planning!

I think everyone going on family visit visa, like my wife.. he/she should attach the below article with his Family Visit Visa Application to ensure and shut the mouths of so called poor, biased and clerical visa officers so that they should understand why you will not overstay in Canada and why you will come back to your home country............

Your in-laws doesn't seem to regret it though.

By the way, they were asked by United Nations, to take the Asylum in Canada or USA?. But because of her daughter already in Canada, they opted the choice of Canada. And everyone knows, there is a huge difference between USA and Canada.

Whether they regret or not, my wife regret their decision because its lot easier to Visit USA for family purposes rather than Canada. Despite being anti immigrant country. At least they have two options for family visit.
a) Form I-134 (an affidavit of financial support) for family visit visa
b) Family Sponsorship Immigration program for parents, siblings, children and even for independent children

I think you dont know the full news. And your info is limited..Probably you are Indian, because it just appeared in Indian News. (Dont know the credibility yet)
I heard they are just planning to restrict from 5 year multiple visa to 1 year multiple visa (Still not confirmed yet). The reason mention was that since Pakistani Government dont give long visas to American Journalists and American Citizens (after the case of Raymond Davis- an American Spy) and there are various similar reasons, behind it, which i dont want to discuss on this forum.But acceptance or rejection is a different thing.

Moreover the Visa Policies are on reciprocated basis: Apart from this, Family Immigration Programs and Form I-134 system are still the same. Dont float the rumors to misguide the others on the forum, unless verifed....!

I know that is why there is 'etc' in there. It doesn't change the fact that most people stay and they are not bitter. Ask your sister-in-law why she stayed and not move somewhere else.

Also, did you try hiring a lawyer? You claim to have money, it won't hurt your pocket if you will hire one to helpmyou with your wife's application. You know instead of ranting here, which has no bearing on your application, do something.

CNN in general... its ok... but for politics.... its not the reliable source . Neither BBC. They mostly manipulate the news!! in western interest

Honestly their Family Ties to Ontario, Canada... that's why they selected. Even few of her relatives lives in Saskatchewan also, though its terrible...I never meant to say Canada is bad.... there are positives and negatives of everything. Off course there are many positives in Canada. especially the people there are most immigrant friendly.
But ask yourself, if you would be given a chance of having a PR of US or Canada, what would be your answer! Despite being anti immigrant country, the reality is that US is off course far advance in Education, Healthcare and Business etc. Plus they have many negatives too!
But anyhow now hard feelings, everyone has to decide his future according to his/her circumstances!!

Yes i contacted 4-5 good immigrant lawyers in Canada & Pakistan both.....but off course the circumstances wont change for my case. Then why to waste 3000 to 4000 CAD
So this time i am the lawyer of my wife case. Lets see what will happen!!.

So called free fund.... Healthcare is just the marketing stunt….to lure immigrants. Check out their qualifications, skills and performance!

And im sorry to the type of health care is provided on free fund…! Why you have a private insurance then? Why the rich go to private clinics. So for rich there is a difference and for poor they have a different approach…!

Why in the emergency they attend youngsters first and old age later, because they don’t care if the old age people even die. Thus to release some burden.

Why in the emergency there is a waiting time for 6-8 hours and people are waiting and waiting like hell

Are you talking about this type of healthcare? When u will get old there, you will come to know your importance there!! And how much old aged people are neglected over there!!
