It is when you log in to myCIC and it shows "update" next to your PR Card application, but when you click on it there isn't actually an update.

So friends.. I kind of lost hope after keeping an eye on timelines posted here and observing that people whose photos re-submission happen on or after Jan11 were getting ghost updates / approvals where I didn't got any updates as such.

Well today by noon i received an email telling profile updated. And now the status got changed to Approved and the message line -
"Your application is approved. We have mailed the card and delivery will be within 6 weeks."

Landing on Nov 21st 2018 .
photos re-submission request on Jan 7 2019.
photos delivered on Jan 11 2019
Feb 05 2019 - received IRCC survey email
March 08 2019 - ircc email on profile update
March 08 2019 - PR card Application approved

Waiting for the card now....

I am looking forward that you will also get the good news soon. Also i didn't got any ghost updates and I know this because I was relentlessly checking my application status .

I think some people got a photo request with a ghost update but most people got approved.
