i dont suggest you to withdraw and resubmit. that might even delay it longer. if you get a different VO, there is no guarantee that it would be processed quicker. my room mates AOR is sep 18th. his application is at etobicoke visa office. as per his gcms notes his application hasnt been touched after the medicals passed on oct 15th. my AOR is oct 15th and its at edmonton VO. even my file hasnt been toched after nov 12th. i am close to 5 months now. at this point i lost my hopes that i get it within 6 months. i dont think there is anything we can do to expedite the process.I noticed that Edmonton VO is very slow. can't imagine to wait for the whole 6 months while other applications processed very fast in other offices. Thinking really about withdrawing mine and resubmit again
Are you in IP1 too?i dont suggest you to withdraw and resubmit. that might even delay it longer. if you get a different VO, there is no guarantee that it would be processed quicker. my room mates AOR is sep 18th. his application is at etobicoke visa office. as per his gcms notes his application hasnt been touched after the medicals passed on oct 15th. my AOR is oct 15th and its at edmonton VO. even my file hasnt been toched after nov 12th. i am close to 5 months now. at this point i lost my hopes that i get it within 6 months. i dont think there is anything we can do to expedite the process.
No, i am in IP2. i am inland applicant. so like most of the inland applicants. i went straight to IP2 when the medicals passed. Are you in IP1 too?
it doesnt look like they are working in a timely manner either. you are almost at 8 month mark. please let us know on this thread if you get any response from them.My AOR is July 22nd. Edmonton office. Application not touched since September according to notes received last week. No ghost update or anything. Someone with AOR july 13th also Edmonton office received a letter earlier this week for an interview. His file wasn't touched since his medical was passed. And he just got his notes in February showing no update. So I think Edmonton don't update files as often but are working.
Thanks for this update. It is really a positive flagHi!
