Hi,

I m an international student applying for Web design and development course in Humber.

It is a Certificate of achievement course, not Ontario graduate certificate.

I wanna know whether this course is eligible for PGWP??

I have asked the Humber International Centre and they replied they cannot pre-determined.

Anyone into Certificate of achievement course or knows details about it. Kindly share it across.

Thanks in advance.

bongoman same here. i recently received an offer letter for the above program, & even my queries are the same.

If the program doesn't grant us the PGWP then can we enroll in a different course after completion of the program? & we will be eligible for the PGWP?

a quick and a positive response would be very much helpful.

You don't need to necessarily have a graduate certificate. As long as the program results in a certificate, diploma or a degree, then it will be eligible for PGWP. It will have to fulfill all the other PGWP requirements as well for you to get a PGWP.

Hypothetically speaking, if you study program A of 1 year which is not PGWP eligible, and after you finish program A , you then go for program B of 1 year which is PGWP eligible.

In this example you will get only 1 year PGWP since you have done only 1 program which is PGWP eligible which is the program B. Studying a second program will not make your first program PGWP eligible.

As I said all programs at humber are elligable for PGWP as long as they meet the requirements, there is no requirement that your program should be post grad to get PGWP so you will get PGWP with this program. Just follow the other rules of PGWP.
