Outland sponsoring my wife before moving back to Canada.

We are hoping to apply for outland sponsorship within the next week or so, and a month or two after that I'll be moving back to Canada preparing for her hopeful move to Canada.

Maybe it's been explained a bunch around this forum, but I can't help feel paranoid that something wrong will happen if we go with this process. So if someone with 100% certainty can tell me directly that, if we apply while living together now and I move to Canada shortly after will that not affect her chances of being approved?

I'm really sorry for the dumb question, but I just need to feel at ease.

It will not negatively impact your sponsorship of your wife. In fact, it may reduce the burden of proof that you intend to reside in Canada after the application is completed. Just make sure you have updated IRCC with all the address changes. I'm assuming that you are a Canadian citizen in order to initiate the sponsorship application from outside Canada in the first place.

Additionally, you could include your intention in your application narrative, so that you are upfront about it.

You only have to prove you have lived together for at least 1 year up to the point your application was sent in.

PLUS, as already stated, it will definitely help to tell CIC your game plan as that should be plenty of proof of your sponsor's intent to return to Canada (they do often ask for more 'proof' of this and I can't think of any better proof than 'they have already gone to set things up in Canada!).

he didn't said it was a common law application, and 1 year cohabitation does not apply to married spouse, right? So if they are married, no proof required
