For me “processing your BGC” - IP2
And “We will send message when we start your BGC” - IP1
So, some people have got PPR directly from IP1. But for mostly they go through IP2.
1. Some go to IP2 after 2-3 months
2. Some go to IP2 in 4th
3. And some even got PPR the day they went to IP2.
But I would hope to get PPR in less than 2-3 weeks if I go to IP2 in 5th month.
But for IP2, people don’t get emails. Just the update on profile

Based on current trends, does the profile gets updated to 'We are currently processing your background check...' or is it the PPR email? Can someone provide insights

My file(Single applicant) is in Ottawa with AOR 20th OCT CEC inland.

Currently Im on a closed work permit and there is good chance for my project to get over by end of April.
One of my friend suggested to apply for 'Open Bridge Permit' and informed that I can switch jobs with it.

I need your suggestions here on this.

Medical is passed
Criminality is passed
Security not started yet

Can anybody suggest how much tym security check takes

I went back to Mexico like 2 months ago and I still don't have my PPR (I'm in Canada again I just went to Mexico for 1 week), I used that web form in order to update the passport and they replied to me saying that they were going to send the updated one to the agent without any problem~

On Ip1, No update since

Called CIC , via hangouts .
After a 30 minute hold, I was told that
VO - Ottawa
Eligibility - MET ( not reflected on profile)
But security and criminality has not started yet.
25 days to my estimated date of completion.

EDIT : FSW-O (single applicant) , India

Planning to order GCMS notes, but I'm not sure if that would help me right now.

My Eligibility, Criminality and security status was also same as on 4th October. We are just there.
