Hi @JoshC , I know your desire to keep spreadsheets as clean and accurate as possible :) Just wondering, there are 2 guys there who still haven't got AOR. @Rsfamily , she's got only one message on this forum, and her app was received on Dec 14. And @natkat , I can see from their timeline they linked an application to an account in February. There should be AOR for both of them I guess? Maybe they didn't update the spreadsheets yet.

I posted the above a couple of weeks back and @natkat liked it, so I’m assuming they’re still waiting for their PCC to come or update with CIC.

@Rsfamily doesn’t seemed to have responded so what I’ll push their app to the bottom of the tracker and put a date of removal on it for 2019-04-01. This will keep it nice and clean and if RS comes back they can add themselves on again.

@schweisy, I’ll be putting your CPC-M theories to the test tonight/tomorrow with the data collected. I’ll post it ASAP.

Hey all,
Have an urgent question.
I just received Biometric request (for timeline, please see my signature).
I made a huge typo, for my spouse, I have mistakenly put 'Canada' as county of birth in IMM0008 form. I have sent a WebForm when I received App# and UCI. Did not receive any response to the WebForm since it's been only couple days. Now in the biometric request letter, it states Canada as country of birth (which I am sure is an auto generated form based on the info in the system).
What should I do? Do the biometric? Or should wait until I hear about the Webform request I submitted? Any tips?
Thanks!

Hello all,
I received biometrics fee request from CIC on the 2019/02/28 I made the payment same day and uploaded the receipt on the web form same day. I got an acknowledgement of reception of the receipt on 2019/03/01 the mail stated the receipt has been forwarded to the processing office, however I was surprised to receive another payment request again today. I have uploaded the receipt again and awaiting response from them, as anyone have a similar experience and how was it resolved.

I’ve had a good search of the forums and due to biometrics being a relatively new thing I can’t find anything similar to this... on your collection letter does it say what citizenship you are along with your country of birth?

Are you far from your local VAC? I’d assume that you’d be fine still providing your biometrics as it’s linked to your account via the barcode on the collection letter.

There’s two options for you. Call CIC and talk to an agent sometime this week for advice. Or if you’re close, go to the VAC, explain the issue and see if they’ll still process you. You’re going to end up setting the precedent for this issue by the looks of it ;)

Thanks so much Josh.
Just ended the conversation with the agent.
He was extra helpful!
He said he submitted 2 forms from his end. 1 for correcting the typo, 1 for sending a new biometric letter.
He advised I can do the bio now and explain to VAC about the typo. Or I can wait for the new updated letter. My spouse is extra cautious so she wants to wait few more days to ensure at least that typo is fixed.
Thanks again for your tips. Lets see.

Excellent news, I’m glad it’s resolved. I can’t blame him for waiting, if you’re far away from your VAC, then it’s a long trip to complete with the risk of being rejected still. (You never know if you’re going to get a jobsworth :p)

VAC is not far at all.
But my spouse is extra careful from now, haha. Does not want to take any risk, saying lets wait 7-10 days to see if they send an updated letter. Then lets do the biometric.

Understandable, keep an eye out for your medical as it’s possible it will come soon and the country could be wrong on there too.

Fingers crossed you get the new one through soon and can get it sorted :)

You have been a great resource Josh! Great work!
Thanks so much!
You are right about the medical too. Wish they send with the right country. Take care.

Hello guys, question for biometrics. My wife received the biometrics to be pay and send it via webform.

Can I pay it myself and send it myself or she has to do it all by herself?.

Thanks.

Got the exact same mail today. This after submitting the receipt via webform earlier, and receiving the mail that it has been forwarded to the processing office

You can pay for it, then upload it via the Webform with her details - application number etc if you wish.
