Guys, I have a questions about payslips for foreign work experience. I used to get my monthly salary via bank. I tried calling my bank from back home and they told me if I need a bank statement (signed or stamped by a bank employee) I should come to the bank branch, otherwise they can't issue me this statement. Since I'm in Canada, I can't go to the bank.... So what I did, I generated my online bank statements and now getting them translated by a professional translator. In my letter of explanation will mention that bank requires me to go to their branch if I want documents signed... but I'm in Canada and can't do that. Do you think this should be ok? On my work reference letter my salary is mentioned... I'm also including tax documents from my country to support my claim that this was paid work. Should it be ok?
Heya - Yes it should work fine.. My colleague who got his PR last month, was sailing in same boat.. He signed the Letter of Explanation and also attached an email he had written to the bank asking for the statement as a proof that he tried it all, but, to no success. He got his PR, so I assume it worked.

Thanks, Ansh

Yes, it should be from the studio. We should mention the name, address, and date taken at the back of one of the photo.
No.
Photos for Express Entry are digital. Not Physical. So no information on the back of photo.
Those instructions are for when you get requested for photos for PPR.

Remember, photo formats for eAPR and PPR are different.
eAPR=35x45
PPR=50x70

Hey All-

Any idea how many photos should we be uploading. It says Digital Photographs, but then they need date stamp, which can be through a hard print.. Either I am going crazy or I am clearly missing something :-(
How many are you uploading?

Thanks, Ansh
The instructions on the circulating PDF are for PPR. Not eAPR.
Photos for eAPR are digital, format 35x45. So no stamping involved whatsoever. You can see the requirements on the document upload page after you get ITA.

After you get PPR, you'll receive new photo requirements, and those are physical, not digital. And yes, for those, you'll need to stamp studio info.

If your company is totally against mentioning duties in reference letter, you'll need to put in extra effort compared to other applicants indeed.
To compensate for lack of duties, include as much as possible from the following list, in addition to whatever work document you were planning on submitting. You'll need to have duties written somewhere.

-Letter of Explanation as to why you're not able to have duties written. Critical. Ideally attach correspondence with HR or manager showing their refusal.
-Duties letter signed by your closest colleague, ideally notarized
-Contract, ideally mentioning duties
-Appointment letter, ideally mentioning duties
-Examples of your work, along with description and explanation of what it is, matching it with your NOC

Note that this is by no means an official list when duties aren't written. It's to explain what kind of document can usually be used to describe duties. It always remains, however, at the discretion of reviewing officer to accept it or not. But you're not the only one and it's a common obstacle for many.

If you didn't book medical yet,pls do so immediately

Hi shyam15, hope you can advise me on my medical checkup which I did yesterday at the appointed clinic. As I do not have any Application number for their reference, but instead they have generated a UMI number for me, and told me that when the results is out, they will email directly to Canada Embassy and advised me to wait for their confirmation reply via my email. So do you think how should I upload my medical checkup results since I do not have any results with me? is it base on their confirmation email when I 've received? Kindly assist. Thank you.
