Admission in Universities for Fall,2019 intake

Hello everyone!!

Anyone out there.. applied in Dalhousie University for fall 2019 MACS and University of Manitoba MCS Coursework? What is the application Status?

Hey what'sup! I applied to Dalhousie University for Masters in Marine Management. On Friday I received an email from the Department that I have been recommended to the Faculty of Graduate Studies for admission for the September 2019 and that final decision is ultimately with the faculty of Graduate Studies. Upon approval of my admission, that I ll recieve a letter of acceptance from the Registrar.

But my application status summary still wrote "*written notification to follow*"

I applied on 11th January, 2019 and every necessary documents was completed on the 28th of January. My official transcript was received on the 10th January, my two References submitted letter on 14th and 15th January and my last Reference submitted her own on January 28th. All other documents like my CV, research statement, my undergraduate Honor's thesis, I sent it to them via email on the January 16th.


I hope this help.

I'm waiting for the letter of acceptance from the Registrar and I'm hoping it doesn't take long time.

You will know the outcome of the decision made this month and next month. Atleast you will get one decision this month while the rest will come in April latest!

Meng is thesis based in MUN, so no one can say anything about your chances. Depends on your potential supervisor, his projects and your research profile.
Otherwise your GPA is ok for MUN. I also have the same percentage and I got into a course based program there.
I don't think there's an age limit. Try keeping your overall IELTS score above 7 with each band over 6.5[/Q

i also got admission for masters in NYIT.
Is it possible to get canada Study visa with any of the above score.

Strongly discourage NYIT. It is a small private university. You won't get the recognition from employers like other masters.

yah i know that but for my ielts band it is only the university to get admission.can you suggest me about visa ,ielts score as i mentioned in above message.is it possible to get study visa with ilets 6.5 with one band 5.5 or 6 with noband less than 6.

Yes bro you were right and thank you so much.

No, the program I opted for is course based and it is not under funding option. And, since it is course based program I did not required supervisor.

Now, as per lakehead email, If I want to accept the offer letter then I have to do before 27th March. But, I want to wait for ottawa response. If I accept lakehead offer then can I accept ottawa offer?
