Hi everyone! Any cuban here? I have a specific question about medicals in Cuba.
At the hospital (Enrique Cabrera...el nacional) they told us that the Canadian embassy collects all the results from the medical exam. I don't know if the embassy itself sends the results to the CIC. They didn't even asked for my application number. Furthermore, I just uploaded proof of the appointment with the application since my deadline was Feb 11th and I had the exams on Feb 14th. How does the CIC get the results? I'm worried!

It is not just the medicals in Cuba but all over the world. Basically, the hospital will upload your results on a web portal and CIC will be able to access from there. For you, they will give you a letter with your details:

1. It should have your picture on the top center
2. It should have your information details (name, date of birth, passport details)
3. It should have UMI code on the top right and also center bottom

You need to scan that letter and upload into the Upfront Medical place holder.

This is the default for a lot of application these days. Many of my friends who got AOR in November, December and January have never seen any "Not Available" on their status. Giving too much thought about this status is a waste of time these days

This is the new normal, background status defaulting to "We are processing your background check…”. It has been termed as False IP2.
