They said that even my security check has not been started.

Hi, somebody sent the passports to Ottawa? I got passport request last Tuesday. I sent all passports To Ottawa and they stuck somewhere. 3 Days I can't get answer there is my passports from post officer. I don't know that to do

Same here, it been 2 weeks since i sent my passport thru canada post but still no updates.

my timeline is :
application received at CIC office: 3rd Nov 2017
AOR: 9 Jan 2018
Medical requested: 19 April 2018
Medical Passed: 30 April 2018
Pre-arrival Email: 31 May 2018

nothing after that, I'm starting to get worried coz I see many people who applied around my time are starting to ger PPRs. Should I be worried?
and if I call CIC will they tell me something I already don't know? It's so damn frustrating.

Dont worry. Im sept 20 and still waiting.
We just need to be patient.

I've done my medical on March 28th. Don't medical exams expire after a year? Do I need to get a new one and if so how do I do that?

And it used to be 17 months when I first started, I've read and heard people waiting 22-25 months for ppr. What do you think I should say on April 12th?

I dont think so. They can postpone the date on the system. They issued medical requests too early this year. Usualy they did it 3 months before ppr. Now 10-11 months.
I heard someone got mr 3 months after app sent. So its normal that this request exceeds 1 year to ppr.

On April 12 its 19 months. Its the end of the proccessing times. They say on the website that u can contact them and they will see whats wrong. Until that day, if u call, they will say : proccessing times are 19 months and u have to wait.
As i told im sept 20. We have to be patient. May be we are lucky and in April we are PR.
