I didn't want to come across as pedantic, but it muddies the data up if we're not all following the same set of guidelines :p

An example of this is the average AOR2 time sits at 91 days... which is not the case cause many haven't actually had confirmation from their VO yet.

I just wanted to know, if you get PPR, what are the next steps after that? Does the PA have to go physically to an office somewhere or do they have to mail your passport out to an office? How long does it take to get the passport back? When you get the passport back, is that when they give you the CoPR at that time?

Nope. As far as I know when you’re processed at CPCM, you wont get AOR 2. But ecas was updated to line 2. We started processing PA application on Feb 27. It updated the same day ecas updated to DM.
My ecas was updated with this line on Feb 22, three days before AOR2 date (25th)

From what I've read, it sounds like people from visa-exempt countries like your husband don't even have to send in their passports; they just have to upload a copy and then they create an eTA on your behalf. I'm not there yet in the process, but all the people I've seen go through my VO from visa-exempt countries have had this happen, and it makes sense since your husband doesn't need any physical visa stuck in his passport in order to visit.

Hi,

I need to contact IRCC (regarding my outland application) through web form and I'm confused what options to select. Can someone please help me? I did submit it previously but never got a reply.

Thanks!

@schweisy basically summed it up. When you’re from a visa exempt country you just send a photocopy of your passport in for PPR.

Another thing I read this morning was that if you’re in Canada on duel intent you can complete a soft landing by calling CIC and getting an appointment at your local CPC.

Following the return of your passport you get COPR. The PPR process can take from 1 week to a month from what I’ve seen on the forums.
