2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

My sponsor side on ecase was changed from IN PROCESS to APPLICATION RECEIVED last month but still review of eligibility is not started anyone has experiencd before?

1. When is the right to start counting for the release of OwP application? Is it from the time they receive your documents OR starting from the time you receive your confirmation letter.?
2. In my confirmation letter which I got last Feb 14 2019 it stated they received my documents last December 16, 2018.
So any ideas or possibilities when I will be able to get the OwP ?. Thank u. Any help is very much appreciated

* I sent my docs to CIC Dec 12
* I got email on Feb 14 that CIC received my docs last Dec 16. They also sent me a request for medical.

The standard processing time of 4 months for the OWP is from reception of your documents (December 16th in your case), so you can probably expect it by mid-April. Some end of November applicants have been receiving the approvals this week though, so hopefully they keep up this pace and you can get it sooner!

The standard processing time of 4 months for the OWP is from reception of your documents (December 16th in your case), so you can probably expect it by mid-April. Some end of November applicants have been receiving the approvals this week though, so hopefully they keep up this pace and you can get it sooner!

Question please...I got Aip on Nov 29, 2018. Todau my Ecas updated saying that they sent me a letter saying that they sent me a letter and expect delays in mail before calling us.

I do have aip in cic account. But any idea why it will update in ecas after 3 months. Please advise. Thank you

Just checked my Ecas and see the same update us yours but that didn’t give me any hope I guess it’s AIP that i received in my email in the 14 of dec

Yes, we still need to wait for 1.5 month around for the background check. Yesterday just got my driving license, class 5 road test passed . At least there's good news....

Congrats .Yes of course it’s something important for me everything is ready and hopefully we hear something very shortly 1.5 month it’s too much but could be even more so we just stuck with them now and just waiting
