Did the request for additional documents come via the GCKey account? If yes, did you try submitting through that?

I mailed in my father's documents on Jan 28 and the online account showed them as received on Feb 1.
I didn't know you could submit through GC Key? The letter had a link to the webform and said to submit it through that.

Since I got the request letter for my father dated Dec 28, the status of the file on homepage went from 'Submitted' to 'Your Action is Required' and remained like that even though CIC updated the file status as documents have been received.

So I used the GCKey to submit my documents again (not necessary but I wanted the status gone) and it went back to 'Submitted'.

Check your GCKey, on the page where you're able to see the detailed status of your application. There's a link on the top that says 'View Submitted Application' click on it and the next page should allow you to upload the document.

Thank you!! Just submitted it there a well, I didn't know that was an option! I mentally feel relieved not to see the 'your action is required' note anymore :)

You're welcome! The mental relief was the only reason I resubmitted to get rid of the 'your action is required'.

I'm glad I was of some help. :)
After reading this I went in to check what our said in the GCKEY. So we received an letter of request for documents for my husbands 21 year old son. He won't participate and we've already told them that. However when I look in the GCKEY they have the request for documents listed under my husbands name. So I am thinking the only way to get the "your action is required" removed is to resubmit my husbands documents because it is under his name. Under his sons name there are no documents requested. Obviously someone made a mistake, but I don't want to ignore what the GCKEY says. Thoughts?

Logically, I'd say that CIC would see that the documents were submitted for the same PR application, but... we all know this isn't always the most straightforward process. If it were me I'd call and hope to not get a wish-washy answer from the person on the other end. If I wasn't satisfied, I'd either send an explanation or re-send them under his name/info. Perhaps someone more experienced can give better advice...

While I'm here... Hey @barsarah , just wanted to let you know that the OWP was approved after all. Exactly four months later from the actual date received. Thanks for the pep talk from the other day. Hoping you get positive news soon, too!

My wife (Principal Applicant) have just received an email from IRCC that she has meet the eligibility requirements.
Wow Congrats @Mark Ng! That's great news! Do you mind sharing the email with us, copy and paste without the personal details? Thanks

PS: I think you are the first ones I've seen who received an email from IRCC about PA passing eligibility.
