Hi,

I'm a lawyer in my home country Egypt,I was wondering if my NOC code would be 4112 (lawyer and Quebec notaries) or would be 4211 (paralegal) ? It is not clear for me ? can I choose NOC 4112 even I have to obtain a license for the profession in Canada ?Is it mandatory that obtain a license for Canada immigration?

is there anyone here who has applied as a lawyer?

Yes, I applied under NOC 4112. License to practice law in your own jurisdiction is a requirement under NOC 4112

What if your own jurisdiction doesn't require bar admission to do transactional work or be in-house counsel. Do you qualify under 4112?
