It's pretty much guaranteed that IRCC will refuse the study permit. For a Master's, they want to see no individual scores below 6.5. All four of your scores fall below.

It should be 6 each, no concept of 6.5, apply in SDS
Edit: Not true, see post by @2b.or.not.2b below. However depending on your country you may have a regular university stream that might be as good as SDS without requiring a 6.0 IELTS or 10K GIC.

SDS is only for colleges, not universities. Universities can only issue master’s degrees.

Hello, Yes 6.0 in IELTS is, in fact, a good score, but it depends whether it can be said as 'good enough' or not. It really depends on the universities. Most of the universities accept IELTS score in Canada. If you go for Masters so, the minimum score should be 6.5 overall and not less the 6. 5 bands in each section of IELTS but it may vary according to universities. But otherwise, you can try for 6 bands in Canada.

Misinformation Alert :
SDS program is meant for citizens of selected countries to obtain priority processed study permit for colleges as well as universities in Canada Please research before posting majority forum members rely on the post for accurate and up-to-date information.

The above website nowhere mentions that it is meant for only colleges.

Apologies, however for University students the regular stream ( at least for India ) is much simpler and does not require the 6.0 IELTS score or the GIC of 10K CAD to process.

However, you are right that the SDS stream is for both college and University students. Should have checked the canada.ca website instead of relying on anecdotal evidence.

SDS means if you want faster processing of your application, few reqs u need to cover, college/university do not matter

Discussion is not about getting in university, it is about visa , SDS requires 6 each. Guy scylla above is giving gurantees that visa will be rejected if band score is less than 6.5.it however depends upon overall profile

No regular college stream requires much more financial documents and proofs than SDS stream. Regular University stream and SDS are more or less the same in that regard.

You need to furnish ITR for 2 year of your parents and yourself. Also you need to give all education certificates and not only the latest certificates.

Yeah, I don't know what you are talking about. In regular University stream you don't need to show GIC. GIC is only the prefered proof of funds. Read the documents.

I made a mistake in saying that SDS was only for Colleges, clearly I was wrong. I didn't say anything else so I don't know where you are pulling this from ?

You can't show bank statement, only loan of 10000 CAD.

"As an alternate option, you can fulfill the financial requirement by submitting a copy of the receipt for your tuition fee) AND a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to $10 000 CAD."

You could take a loan for your tuition and show it here. You will have access to all the funds , and you will only be charged the interest when you withdraw the funds, you will also have it in full, and you can take a lesser amount on the loan.

If you have the money then GIC would be easier, and therefore SDS would be a better option, providing you can pay the first year fees in full.
