Exactly. As I am in Security and everything has been passed, I ordered CBSA notes yesterday. so not sure if that may delay my file on CBSA side or not. I even have no idea how gcms for CBSA look likes. never seen one before. if you have any example or any instruction how to interpret please share it.
CBSA notes are exactly the same as CIC as they have access to the same GCMS system. The only difference is that CBSA does not redact any part and you can see that were those parts that got redacted in your CIC notes.

I got two responses from two different agents in 1 hour for my latest CSE! :D
They're slightly different, but both are useless (as expected). They even didn't mention the status of my eligibility!
Anyways, here's a part from one of them:
"Your application for permanent residence is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-O) in Ottawa, Ontario. We invite you to visit our website for CPC-O’s contact information."

Anybody here have emailed their responsible CPC office? Do you recommend it?

as far as I know , the visa offices would not even confirm the document you send them! agar az divar seda dar umad , az una ham seda dar miad.
gcms , cse and call center is the only way you can get some updates regarding your app

This is their email
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
Same as CSE, they won't give you much answer, except they ask you to keep contacting them minimal.

I really don't know this one. Failed at your test :D
I guess (iii). What do you think?

I'm not sure. Each of them could be true. But if I had to choose one I would go to (ii): criminality + security:
(1) In myCIC, the "eligibility" and "background" are separated => one could say that background check does not include eligibility
(2) Since there is no specific item for criminality in your account, criminality should belong to background.

(1) and (2) => background check = {criminality, security}

Again, I'm not 100% sure, and this is why I asked this question.

The proof is not that strong... :D To make it a little stronger, we should assume that
(-1) The process includes only and only three distinct steps: eligibility, criminality, security
(0) Background check is a subset of {eligibility, criminality, security}

This assumption makes (2) stronger...

Now, (-1) to (2) implies (ii)

ROFL :D :D :D
There is also another term that CIC uses and that is admissibility, which itself refers to criminality + security + medical. Not sure if they are related or not.

oops, yes, you're right.. I forgot the medical exam... Now, (-1) should be corrected as follows:
(-1) After the medical passed, the process includes only and only three distinct steps: eligibility, criminality, security

PS: mibini in PR application che balaee saram avorde.. Oskol shodim raft darim bahash bazi mikonam :D

What is the average processing time for Iranian applicants now? I know it was pretty long for SS last year but the minister claimed it has been fixed. I wonder if the SS still takes much longer than normal?
I will be passing the 6 month period but from what I understand that doesn't even mean anything...
