Something is not clear about this process. Where does cic says that you need to get gcms notes? As per them, we need to check our account often and they will communicate with us through the account or email. So if they need additional documents or something is not clear they should get in touch with us,right. I have seen many applicants' file put on pause because of unclear documents/missing info.
So if they didnt order gcms notes they would never know what is the issue. Does it mean after some time their application would have been rejected?
CIC does not say anywhere to order GCMS notes, however sometimes like in my case they never sent me a ADR i only got to know from the GCMS notes that they need my salary in the employment letters. So its just recommended to get the notes for clarity on your case.

Is there anyone still in IP1 from September. My AOR is 18th and my application hasn't moved since Medicals in October.
I am in the same boat..
AOR : September 17th

Ordered GCMS notes and got to know that the eligibilty has been met... But no update on my profile..

Hi guys!

I just wanted to ask is there any method of contacting a cic agent through phone call cuz its transferred to

Couldn’t agree more! Tht would hv set the expectations straight!

How are you so sure that its not FIFO?IRCC employs tens to hundreds of Visa officers/ analysts and FIFO only works if all the applications takes exactly the same time for processing which is not the case.Lets say there are 20 Visa officers and they took up 20 applications based on FIFO/AOR date. 1 application out of this 20 might finish in 10-20 days and that particular VO takes up next application.Imagine this happening for mutilple applications leading to our situation now.

Lets wait till we get ours.5 months are done and this last month should result in more PRs based on previous month trends. Remember no news is good news in IRCC terms. :)

Congrats everyone who has received PPRs!! :)

just wondering does the PPR email usually come from Local VO or Processing VO?

What u said makes sense.. but there should be a mechanism to close one month and then move further via some application redistribution (if needed).. Nov folks receiving PPR when Sep or prior ones r waiting.. does nt make sense.. I understand each application is different and some may take more time but still..
