Officer was nice and chatty

Pr card waiting starts now 4-6weeks
So it seemed after 2-3 week you will have the landing interview letter.

Hi all,

Feb 2018 Inland applicant here. I think I lost on the processing steps.

I received the eligibility passed letter back in November and My sponsor also received the DM letter ,Since then there is no any update.
Can you please tell me what's the next step?

I'm in Toronto, I called today again but I could not talk with anyone.
Have you logged in on Ecas? Use Sponsor UCI/name/birth to log in.

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do

If it shows DM on both side, then you really need to called them again, ask why you haven't received the landing interview letter yet? But my guess Toronto is a busy office, you may have the landing letter in 4-8 weeks after DM.

What's the landing interview for Inland applicants? I thought it is something for outland applications only.

Here is what I have on my Ecas, as you can see, not a lot of info at all. Mycic account has absolutely nothing either. I had to order my notes to see what was going on, came to find out I passed my medical a week after I did it. Unfortunately I lost a job because I didn’t know this, as IRCC wouldn’t tell me, even after contacting them multiple times. My advice would be to order your notes, it takes approx 25-30 days to receive, but it will give you a better idea of where you are at.

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 23, 2018.
  2. We started processing your application on December 17, 2018.
  3. We sent you correspondence on August 23, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
  4. We sent you medical instructions on August 23, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  5. We sent you correspondence on January 17, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
I have the same line#5 on December 27. My rep told me that they will wait until the deadline (which is the deadline they gave you, in 30 days) to open your documents. I got updated on Feb 1, so appr. 5 weeks. Hope this information helps.

What does your myCIC say? You should call as you have passed the 12 months mark.
