Have you received Medical request? And how old is your son? I wouldn't advice you make such a huge decision o. Maybe after you get a passport request.

Waiting for Med request yet. He's 13y.o
Coz I was hoping he wud be able to be here before start of school. But yes, will definitely take your advice. Thanks!

My father is a refugee and granted PR in 2017 and he also sponsored us as dependent (My mother & brothers sister) So after a long time my father received this letter from LVO which stated to sent pictures,copies of passport,national identity card,birth certificates police clearance certifate,old family pictures along with proof of communication with father .
WHAT does this letter mean?
Are we approved for the PR or still they will assess/examine more on the basis of documents sent?
If we are APPROVED for sponsorship then how much TIME it will take for visa processing and what will happen next ??
If NOT approved the what will happen?
Your guidance will be highly appreciated.THANKS

They are asking for additional documents. Are you using a lawyer for the sponsorship process? They need police clearance certificate from the country your mum and the children above 18years or so have lived in for more than 6months. It take approximately 12months or more to process sponsorship now

I noticed a decision made on ECAS on Feb 9. Then got the approval thru email on Feb 13th. How many days do u think it shud take for med request? Is thru email as well?

My father is not using any lawyer he himself started the sponsorship process.
So you mean we are approved for immigration we just have to wait for medical and PPR??

It has stages. Send the documents they require, then he get a sponsorship approval mail, then medical request, interview (if necessary) passport request then Corporate. You guys still have a long way to go

Received med request today! Sponsorship approval was on Feb 13
And now able to link the application in GCKey by using the UCI. I just found out the UCI today as well under the details of med request.

It's difficult for the application to be refused at this stage.if things were not in order they would have sent your application back instead of asking for additional documents
