Hi everyone,
I am Minh from Vietnam. I am planning to study in Canada and find jobs then get PR after that. Due to limited funding, I can only apply for a 1 year master degree in Ontario (for example, Reyerson or Trent Uni) or a 2 year PG diploma (with co-op preferably).

Though Ontario province encourages joining the Ontario International Master Stream that could help me gain PR without a job offer, I know that many people have failed due to limited number offered every year (about 2.500 successful applications).

Though PG diploma is not considered as worthy as master degree, it could ensure a 3 year working permit. I am targeting 2 year PG diploma in business management in Selkirk College (BC) or Lambton College (Ontario).

Could anyone give me advice about what to choose?

Thanks a lot

If that would be me I will pick the 2 year diploma in Selkirk. That 3 year work experience will bump up the Express entry points and have a higher chance of being a PR. And within that 3 years there are other possibilities that will open for PR, Canadian experience class and you might get an invitation for a provincial nominee.
