I am student right now. Used to be students by providing AOR letter could receive PR and citizens benefits. But now they are asking for a letter that application is approved in principals and just waiting for the final approval.

I am being charged 3 times that I should be.
I know. I remember that one of the things that #delayed Iranian Applicants were bringing up was the fact that have to pay tuition triple than others for several years waiting their S to be done. As far as I know, they don't provide Approved in Principle, but I recommend you to call them and ask.If you find anything relative, please share it with others as well.

Got an ghost update 40 days after ip2. I think its triggered with my criminality passed as they were working on it since last month and also asked me an updated PCC. does it make sentence or there is chance of something else ? I haven't been asked any ADR as of today.
PCC from which country? Canada or Iran?
For us the ghost update meant that the criminality was passed, but for you since you get PCC ADR, I don't think they have finalized it yet. They will check your PCC and then decide on that. Maybe the ghost update was for ADR itself. If it is really important to you, either call them and ask, or order notes to know what exactly is happening.

That's really odd. You mean they used to charge PR applicants same as PRs and Canadians with only having AOR in your hand?!
And how do you get such letter (approval of application in principals) to use this benefit?
I think this letter is only for sponsorship of spouse. The reason is because the spouse of any Pr or citizen can get PR, except in a very rare cases. It is just the matter of time. However, this is not true for the EE. A person from anywhere in the world can apply for EE and they don't want to let them have any of these benefits, before they make sure that the applicant is admissible to Canada (e.g. security etc.).

Yes for Iran. They asked it for second time as it passed 1 year since submitted and they have not processed it in this period ( based on GCMS notes ) .

Oh OK, so your fist PCC was expired that is why they requested for new one!
Criminality does not take long similar to security. Hopefully you will pas it in less than a month

Hello all, I emailed Goodale after 11 month, I received the following:
Eligibility is in progress – recommend pass.

Criminality passed June 22, 2018.

Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.

Medicals are valid until Feb 25, 2019.
After 11 months, just eligibility recommended to pass? means I should wait another 11 month for possible SS pass? please help

AOR 29 March 2018, FSW and PNP
You applied under either FSW (federal skill worker) or pnp (provincial nominee program), can't be both. Did you have any nomination from any province?

Look at my signature and let me know the status of your application? Eligibility? Criminality? Security? Any ADR? Any ghost update? Were you RR?
If you don't know about these, search on the forums on canadavisa. You can find enormous amount of info on these.

Have you raised any CSE? Share the exact email from the CSE, email, or Ralph Goodale's office here so that we can help you with your application.

As I told you before, it seems that your eligibility is set to recommended pass. There was probably some issue with your application, the case analyst sent it for review by some Senior analyst, and they finally approved it. Now, the next step is that the officer reviews the case analysts comments and will check your docs one more file and decides if you meet the eligibility requirement or not. If you have someone in Canada, ask them to order GCMS notes to see where the problem was and if there is still some concern, you may need to upload some new documents (maybe not as it seems the issue is solved and they could verify your info). If you don't know any person in Canada, then ordering it might costs 30-40$. decide by yourself

The criminality is done and there is nothing wrong with that.

Your medical is gonna expire soon, but wait for CIC, if they want, they will ask you to redo it.

The biggest issue is the security. After your eligibility is set to "Passed", the officer will send your file for security. If you are among very few lucky Persians, it will be done in a cpl of days. Otherwise, they will send you file for more in depth analysis which will need at least 6 months!

Damn, a simple issue took 11 month to verify, still not sure the officer would accept or not, how much is the chance they reject or ask more documents at this step?
Is there any benefit on ordering GCMS? May it irritate officer and reject my case?

I am sure no one was touching your file for most of this time, but if you ordered notes earlier, you could speed things up. Also, when there is an issue, multiple people need to check it and verify it.

The more time goes, the less is the chance they reject. Usually they won't reject easily and they ask you for more docs, unless there is some serious problem with your application.

I don't recommend ordering notes very often, but in your case, I think it might not be a bad idea. It just gives you all the details about your application. If it was 6 months ago, I would definitely recommend it to you to know the problem. But now, I don't know. Seems the problem solved, but it is depending on the officer as well.

There are a lot of controversies about the notes. Usually GCMS notes are carried out by a different person who is knowledgeable about rules and regulations of Access to Information Act. There are lots of posts about it on these threads. It depends on you, if you want to take the blue pill or not!

Thanks a lot for your kind explanation, I think it might be better to cross my finger and wait! Just the interesting thing is that my Lawyer emailed CIC two month ago to follow up. They answered the same day that they forwarded my request to Centralized office but no answer till now!

Do you know which email he emailed to? Maybe he raised CSE.
This shows that your file is in Centralized Intake Office. They only send template answers. Don't have high hopes for their emails.
