Proof of cohabitation

Guys I know there are a lot of threads on the forum under this topic but after reading a lot of them I'm still stuck. So I moved to Canada in March 4 2018, my boyfriend moved into the apartment we have lived together in december 2017 but the problem is previous tenants sublet the apartment to him so he didnt have a lease, I dont know why but in Montreal all the leases are starting on 1st of July. But we do have bills under his name that dates back to December so we can prove he actually moved here in December, and then I came in March and we added my name in the lease signed it in March but the lease starts on July 1st... Our landlord said all the leases are like that and didnt change the dates... and then for the first payment period she put March 2018... The problem is I dont have any proof that I was living here in March lease is the only thing I have and the dates are so confusing I dont know what to do. I can get a letter from landlord stating that I moved here on 4th of March but since it's not an official document I am afraid It wont be enough.

We have a phone bill for march that came to our address, In the bill it states that "you made a change in your account and added this number:XXXXXXXXX" (my boyfriend added my number under his account) but there was only my boyfriend's name on the first bill and near my number -the added number- there was no name when we saw this we told them to correct it they said they couldn't, they only corrected it for the next bills. But for the next bills we have my name near my phone number. So do you guys think this can be a proof for March?

What should I do? Maybe apply for visa extension and apply for PR in april?I really dont want to waste my time since it already takes long time for them to process the application but on the other hand I don't want to waste all of my application either. Any advice will be appreciated!!!

BTW we do have extra proofs, like bank statements that show financial support, we will get letters from family&friends and maybe notarize 2-3 of them, we have joint bank account (It was opened in november 2018 tho), my partner will change his status to common law while doing taxes, I have couple of bills that were addressed to our apartment, we will include my cat's adoption documents, we will also include my name under his life insurance. The only problem is the lease... I will propose my landlord to fix the dates because they all look wrong, If she says no I will get a letter from her and have it notarized. Do you guys think these will be enough? Any insights? Please

If you really don't have much of a choice, I would just submit whatever proof you have. There's always an option to add a Letter of explanation. Just my 2c..

Thank you, I hope everything will be fine with the lease. The dates don't correspond to each other. I made a huge mistake by relying on the lease i guess... Thx again
