hello,
I’ve completed my Bacherlors in Arts in 2018 for which I registered in 2013. I had to take 2 years off because my mom was diagonized with cancer. But I went back and finish my Bacherlors. I’ve completed an IELTS with a score of 6.5 and I’m planning to come to Canada for my further education. I was wondering if I can get a visa because of my 1 year gap after my education.

Thank you

That is totally fine. 1 year gap will not affect anything on your student visa. You need to get offer letter from Canadian school and you will get the visa.

Thank you karnajessica for your reply.
How about the the time I took off while doing my Bachelors. I am planning to present the Hospitals papers when my mother was sick otherwise I’d have completed the Bachelors on time.

when you fill the education part in your application, you will put 2013 to 2018 doing bachelors.
when you fill the employment history part in your application, you will put something like 2013 to 2015 studying bachelors then 2015 to 2016 taking care of mom, then2016 to 2018 back to bachelors. u can attach the hostipal letter with your documents.

I’m grateful for that advice! Just to bug you the last time. Is 6.5 overall in IELTS good enough to be eligible for visa?
it depends on the program you will be enrolling in. what program you are going to take and which school?
6.5 is good for canada

I’ve not started the college process yet to be very honest. Can you please help me with some programs and colleges in Alberta or Saskatchewan. It’ll be greatly appreciated. I can not afford to hire a lawyer to do my work. If you can help me find something related to Bacherlors of arts I’ll appreciate it.
Thank you
