Hi Everyone,

I´m and Indsutrial Engineer and I´m applying under the EE program (Not Federal Skilled Program). I have 1 year of working exp in Canada under the NOC 9221, however, I don´t have any license or certification besides my Bachelor´s Degree and my Master´s Degree.

In this case for the question below, should I put my graduation date as date that I became qualified to practice?

Do I have to provide a license during the EE process?

If the "primary occupation" is:

  • a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
  • any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)
Thanks!

you work for a company. you are not self employed. if that is true. you should be entering the date you got the job.
