I have been rejected a Canada visa to visit my fiancé for 6 months , I’ve applied for multiple entries . The visa officer says I am refusing your application on the following grounds: stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. Also added based on your travel history.
Which I don’t understand because I have traveled in and out of country to Senegal many times but I remembered last two family visit and also visited Fathala wildlife last year August which I have my passport entry approval and departure both stamps . I’ve mentioned two of my last visit which I remember on my application with the travel dates . I also have provided my business documents with the tax clearance receipts and personal savings statements of 200,000 dalasis and also business account statement which is over 367,000 dalasis with everything i’ve Provided including supporting documents, police report certificate, medical certificate, account statement letter from my bank with the bank transaction statement and yet the visa officer denied me visa as my finance has mentioned on the letter she will be accommodating me at all ease for my 6months visit . I don’t get it why the visa officer refused me a visa to visit my fiancé . It says on the email they sent to me , I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, base on your based on your personal assets and financial status. added base on your travel history also. Of cuz I’ll return back to my home country after visit visa expires before my 6 months visit . Like I applied for multiple entries visa , why would I stay . I don’t know whats next to done, I got this email yesterday morning as my visa is refused. I was hoping to get any help from you to reapply again and what advise can give to help for my next application or can I possibly appeal for my application . Thank you

You were refused because you are a huge risk to overstay to be with your fiance.

6 months was WAY too long. Genuine visitors don't come for 6 months. It shows a distinct lack of ties to your country. You shouldn't have asked for anything more than 2 weeks.

Travel history means trips to developed countries requiring visas, like the US, UK, Australia etc. Senegal doesn't count.

No idea what dalasis is. Convert to CAD.

IRCC wants to see that you can support your trip, not your fiance.

What is the complete list of documents you submitted?

You don't have enough funds for a six month trip. As also said above, a six month trip shows that you effectively want to move to Canada and that's a big reason why you were refused.

If you want to reapply, you should request a 2-3 week visit at most and also demonstrate stronger ties to your home country (e.g. job, property, assets).

There aren't two separate categories. You simply apply for a TRV and if you are approved, IRCC decides if it's going to be single or multiple entry.
